You want to keep your business or home safe when the power goes out. Your generator can supply ample power, but without a proper transfer switch, you could be wishing that you were content with no power. GenTran has been supplying excellent transfer switches for almost 30 years, and the 501210 Powerstay 12-Circuit 50 Amp is no exception. It can accommodate up to 12,500 watt generators and it also expands up to 16 circuits. No transfer switch is more versatile than this one; powering your refrigerator, microwave, lights, television, anything you need to get you through till your power is restored. Too much of a good thing (the power) can lead to overloading and destruction of your appliances. That's why this great GenTran product has a dual watt meter, so you can keep an eye on where the power is going and how much of it as well. Hard-wired or plug in connections are both part of the 501210's repertoire. The makers of the "original" transfer switch aren't slowing down any time soon. Be prepared for the worst with GenTran.
